March 13th 1989...

When Light Begat Darkness

Occasionally, the unexpected arrives from out of nowhere.  As demonstrated by the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami of the past weekend, Mother Nature has a way of putting things in perspective and putting us in our respective places.

Lesson:  always respect your Mother.

Prayers for Japan

11:16 pm PST I got an email from a coworker that Japan just got hit with "the big one".

Looking at TV and early reports, it seems so.  Not only the quake, but the ensuing tsunami only increased the devastation and grief.

Pray for Japan.  Potential for many casualties.  Christmas 2004 tsunami levels.
